Water, Oil, Air, and in some cases, Natural Gas and LP-Gas. Use with Brass, Steel, Iron Pipe. Pipe threads must be sealed using approved thread sealant.
– Apply thread sealant compound or tape.
– If using tape, wind in the direction of the threads.
– Do not tape first 2 (starting) threads.
– Assemble hand tight.
– Tighten a minimum of 2-1/2 full turns past hand tight.
